Welcome to SE20 Craft Fair blog! This whole website is brand new and I hope it will be a place where you can come to learn about local crafters (and artists, bakers, makers etc) as well as local events and to find out when the next SE20 Craft Fair is.
With the 6th SE20 Craft Fair less than 2 weeks away, I have been looking at the posters that have been made for all the previous fairs. Most of them were drawn by me on the backs of envelopes and then photocopied and blown up, but I managed to rope in professionals once or twice as well. Feast your eyes on these works of art and then cast your minds back to the craft fairs they advertised. Were you there? Did you have fun? What did you buy? Do you have photos? Leave me a comment and let me know!
And put Saturday 4th April in your diary - it's our next craft fair outing, the theme is Love Local and I'm very excited. See you there!

This was designed by local artist and illustrator Karen Wall for our first ever craft fair in November 2012
Here's the rainbow vomiting unicorn I drew for the same fair!
This one has kept it's 'I am drawn on an envelope' shape nicely! Keeping the rainbow theme, I replaced a sick unicorn with a lovely daffodil for the second SE20 Craft Fair in April 2013.
The theme of the 3rd SE20 Craft Fair was 'cake'. There was so much cake that day that noone could get home without waddling. Here's the digital flyer for that fair.
...and here's the hand drawn version, rainbow theme still in force. My artistic talent hasn't improved much...
Talented south London based Graphic Designer Michelle Allen designed the poster for our 4th craft fair in April 2014. The theme was balloons. It was a buoyant affair.
Which brings us to 2015! The rainbows are gone and replaced with little neon chickens (they are all the colours of the rainbow though so that's just as good). Look out for them at SE20 spring craft fair...
